From 01 Aug - 30 Sep 08, the hotel plans to renovate recreation facilities on 5th floor swimming pool, fitness centre and beauty salon.

During this time, guests are able to enjoy the pool facilities at Narai hotel, 50 meters from the hotel. Beauty salon & fitness centre will be relocated within the hotel.

Anne Semonin Spa will be closed during this period, however in room message and limited treatment could be arranged for the guests.

The work of renovation will be only at day time during 08:00-18:00 hrs.

EASTIN BANGKOK changed name to Eastin Hotel and Spa Bangkok and to a 4 star status.

The new name will effective from 01 December 2007 . At the moment the hotel is under- going a major renovation programme to change its concept from Lanna Theme to a very modern contemporary style with all the latest and technologies being employed in all the guest rooms and throughout the hotel. According to the hotel, there will be some new facilities added to the existing ones such as a specialist restaurant. The former Seagull Resort was bought up by The Emerald Khao Lak. The former Seagull Resort consists of hotel building ruines, which are being renovated. The whole construction is fenced in by green plastic fences, the construction is clearly visible on the way to the entrance of The Briza Resort and the renovation consists of building up on the broken parts of the former buildings, clearing and digging, using cement mixers, trucks and saws. PEACE RESORT

is renovating the standard bungalow for upgrading to be deluxe bungalow around 30 bungalows. They have some noisy just the first 3 days.

They could not bear with complaints from the guests, they hade made a decision to modernize the bathroom of standard gradually without disturbing their staying or incoming guests.  All confirmed bookings in Standard will be replaced by Deluxe or Super Deluxe which are closer to swimming pool and beach, away from renovation, some minor works left such as painting, plastering the walls of bathroom and putting some decorative items. They are providing a separate entrance for the workers. Guests will not see those delivering materials into the resort. The renovation will be completed at the beginning of June

SUNSET VILLAGE RESORT

The Sunset Village will renovate the Garden Cosy Bungalows in the middle of the resort. The project is during 01 Jul 08 - 31 Sep 08. Daily working from 08:00-20:00 hrs. There will be noise disturbance as those Bungalows are located in the center of the resort. (Posted 07 May 08)

ROYAL CLIFF BEACH RESORT (Royal Wing & Spa)

An emergency repair work of a free-form swimming pool of Royal Wing & Spa is now in place until 15 May 2008 from 10:00 hrs. - 18:00 hrs. but with no noise disturbance and the work area is completely screened off.

However, during the three days – 30 April-2 May, the repair work will emanate an elevated level of noise as light machinery will be used which may cause disturbance to the guests staying in this building (Royal Wing & Spa) only. Anyway please be assured that the work will cause only noise and there is no need to feel concerned about the safety of the guests as only small-sized machinery will be used.

While the noisy repair work is undertaken during the 3 days, Royal Wing & Spa's guests can still use the other section of the same swimming pool with pristine water where no such works will be carried out or, alternatively, make use of the pools cascade and Jaccuzzis at Royal Cliff Sports & Fitness Centre. As the privileged guests of the Royal Wing & Spa, they are, of course, welcome to swim at Resort's Main Pool.

After completion of the work, beautification process without using machinery will be carried out for this section till 15 May. This includes touching up the area with cement/paint. It will not cause any kind of disturbance to guests. After the beautification, the section will be opened for use by the guests on 15 May. Until then, the Royal Wing & Spa guests can swim as usual in the other section of the pool.

Flipper House next door of Sunbeam Pattaya is under construction of its new building from now – 31 Dec 2008.

The hotel's swimming pool will be closed for renovation during 1-30 September 2008.

WOODLANDS RESORT

Woodlands resort  to extend the construction work for a new wing  until 30 April 2008. The construction work is daily from 09:00-20:00 hrs. The construction may affect to clients staying in nearby resort such Sunshine Garden Pattaya which located approx. 50 m distance from Woodlands resort.
